I remember dreading the day I found the right couch to travel in our appartment. Binx was never explicit with what he liked scratching on and I realised that if I bought this couch, that it would finish up looking sort of a shreaded pin cushion in a matter of hours not days!
Simply stepping into a new appartment (or having been there a long time) introducing your kitty to his new surroundings can be quite tough and you would like to keep him within for about a week to a few weeks until you are satisfied that he’s happy to understand where home is and he’s settled himself before deciding to let him outside. Whereas he is inside for those one to three weeks, if you’re unfortunate enough to not be able to remain home and watch your kitty 24/seven, you will seemingly to come back home and find the couch has been attacked or worse, I used to come back home and realize the base of my bed had been attacked!

Create certain the pole is secured down properly as a result of it may topple onto kitty while he’s using it, and it can simply scare him off using the pole for sensible! I had ours wedged beneath the TV Cabnet and currently the Coffee table and removed the bell attached to the top of the pole as it seemed to scare Binx everytime it jingled behind him! And guess what – He has not touched our new couch, ONCE!
